wolves women fixture/stadium statement

The “Wolves 1877 Trust” welcomes the announcement of this season’s FA WNL Northern Premier Division Fixtures.  We wish Macca, and all at Wolves Women, all the best for the season – fingers crossed for another successful season, including the defending of the League and County Cup titles and hopefully promotion to the Championship.

However, it was noted that with the announcement of the fixtures the League also announced that Wolves Women will now be playing at Telford’s New Bucks Head Stadium (see below).  This has been done without any consultation with fans; this is disappointing, as Wolves had the highest average attendance in the division at the CKW Stadium and it is within the boundaries of Wolverhampton.  We hope that there is a plan for transferring the excellent support Wolves have grown at the CKW Stadium to Telford and improving the match day experience for fans.
