WOLVES 1877 TRUST WELCOMES CLOSER CLUB CONSULTATION

Wolves 1877 Trust welcomes the establishment of Fan Engagement Groups as announced by the club last year.

The trust is pleased that the club has further recognised the importance of an independent, democratic Wolves supporter representative body by ensuring that the trust will be represented within these groups.

The recently formed groups will cover Match Day Experience, Retail, Diversity and Ticketing. Apart from trust representatives, the club also invited applications and selected supporters to join each group.

Supporters will serve for an initial term of 12 months; this may be extended if the club feels it would be beneficial to any ongoing projects.

Alongside the Fan Engagement groups, the trust has had regular communication with the club covering topics including Sustainability, Wolves Women, Merchandise, and the Fan-Led Review of Governance within Football.

As part of the ‘My Club, My City’, the FSA backed diversity project, the trust has collaborated with Punjab Wolves and the club in arranging a photoshoot of supporters. Wearing club shirts, supporters have been photographed across various locations throughout Wolverhampton. The project aims to celebrate the diverse nature of our supporters and the club will be putting together an exhibition of the photos later this year.

As part of recognising the role of the supporters trust the club have also added a link to our website from their Fan Engagement page - https://www.wolves.co.uk/fan-services/fan-engagement/

Wolves 1877 Trust is open to all Wolves supporters, joining details can be found here - https://www.wolves1877trust.co.uk/membership
